Inspector License Criteria
Requirements for License Issuance:
• Experience:
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in boxing event management or officiating.
• Inspectors should have an understanding of the rules governing boxing matches, including equipment checks, ensuring compliance with weigh limits, and monitoring safety protocols.
• Training:
• Must attend a BPBA-approved training course on inspector duties and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of anti-doping regulations and familiarity with proper handling of medical equipment and ring safety is required.
• Character Check: Must have no history of misconduct or involvement in any activities that compromise the integrity of the sport.
• Application Fee: BDT 10,000
• License Validity: 1 years
Renewal Criteria:
• Renewal Fee: BDT 500 every 1 years.
• Activity: Inspectors must have supervised at least 2 professional boxing events in the last 1 years.
• Updated Training: Must attend one refresher course or seminar organized by BPBA on the latest rules and regulations within the renewal period.
Suspension & Revocation:
• License can be suspended or revoked for failure to enforce rules, engaging in misconduct, or violating BPBA safety protocols.
