Professional Boxing License Criteria & Regulations

Cut men License Criteria

Requirements for License Issuance:

• Experience:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a cut man or working in a similar capacity with professional or amateur boxers.
Must have knowledge of proper treatment for cuts, swelling, and injuries during a fight.
Applicants must demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate tools and techniques, including adrenaline 1:1000, enswell, gauze, bandages, etc.
Applicants should have a proven track record of working with licensed boxers or teams.
• Medical Knowledge: Must have basic first-aid certification and an understanding of wound management.
• Training: Applicants must have attended at least one BPBA or internationally recognized course on cut man responsibilities.
• Character Check: No history of malpractice or misconduct in previous boxing roles.
• Application Fee: BDT 5,000
• License Validity: 1 years

Renewal Criteria:

• Renewal Fee: BDT 500 every 1 years.
• Continued Professional Development (CPD): Proof of attending at least one workshop or seminar on cut man responsibilities during the licensing period.
• Activity: Must have worked in at least 5 professional or high-level amateur bouts in the last 2 years.

Suspension & Revocation:

• License may be revoked for malpractice, such as improper wound treatment, failure to adhere to BPBA safety protocols, or any form of unethical conduct.
